Bigbelly Max with Compaction

Bigbelly Smart Max is a solar-powered trash can with a compaction feature designed for locations where waste volumes are high or vary. The compaction feature allows the can to hold more waste between emptying cycles. The fill-level monitoring system displays the status on the CLEAN management platform and helps staff prioritize which stations need to be emptied.

Bigbelly Smart Max is ideal, for example, for high-traffic entrances, city centers, parks, and transit areas where trash quickly fills up regular trash cans.

The station has a 120-liter inner container. With compaction, the manufacturer specifies a capacity equivalent to approximately 570 liters of uncompressed waste. How much it can actually hold depends on the composition of the waste and how well it can be compacted.
