BigBelly will from June help the City of Helsinki become cleaner and more comfortable.
30pcs BigBelly From June, BB5 will help the City of Helsinki make three parks a cleaner and more comfortable experience. Helsinki Crown Jewel, Esplanade Park will have about 20 units. The park is passed by about 10,000 people/day.
Helsinki has for many years had the positive challenge of too many visitors but too small trash cans. Different solutions have been evaluated over the years both underground and above ground. Now the BigBelly show that in a small area they can collect the volume needed in a place that lives 24/7.
"Helsinki has chosen to rent its units in order to be able to carry out an evaluation of the system on a full scale," says Per Järnebrink, CEO of EWF ECO AB, Scandinavia distributor for BigBelly Solar. The parks that have been chosen have different types of challenges, 24/7 visitors, a park where the weather affects whether it is full or deserted and the last is an amusement park where the experience should not be disturbed by vascular emptying.
More companies are choosing to rent to put the cost into operation instead of making an investment. In Sweden, NP3 properties have also chosen to rent BigBelly to use in an area other than park. BigBelly np3 will work with commercial properties and shopping centers in Östersund and Falun.
