Spring is finally here and Tyresö Centrum is gearing up and investing in bigger and smarter bins, to make the place even more pleasant for its visitors.
Behind the work is, among others, technical manager Nenad Joksic, who saw an opportunity to optimize the operation and contribute to a pleasant experience for everyone who stays in Tyresö Centrum.
- "Our old bins needed to be replaced, so to make it easier for the cleaning crew, we upgraded to larger bins that compress and don't fill up as quickly. We save a lot of time for our cleaning organization when we can keep track of the filling levels digitally, and the work can be optimized" says Nenad.
As a technical manager in Tyresö Centrum, Nenad's role is to ensure that everything runs smoothly, from the daily maintenance but also to test new ideas that optimize the operation of the business.
Solar-powered bin keeps trash in place
The closed bins keep the waste in place and prevent birds and rats from spreading the waste. "We also like the fact that the bins run on solar cells, of course, because we have a strong focus on reducing energy use here in Tyresö Centrum," says Nenad.
We want our center to be an inviting and clean place. When visitors feel safe and comfortable here, it increases the sense of community and creates a positive experience," he continues.
By working preventively, and with modern technical solutions, Tyresö Centrum is an inspiring meeting place for the municipality and its visitors.
With the new bins in place, the aim is to offer an even more welcoming environment when the spring sun comes out.
