Umeå into BigBelly Family!
Umeå Municipality has now received its first delivery of BigBelly which is next in line to streamline waste management in the municipality's public environment. The order is valid for the variant High Capacity , equipped with a user-friendly foot pedal and has a capacity of 570 liters.
BigBelly High Capacity powered all year round using renewable solar energy and is completely independent of electricity grids. BigBelly makes it possible to analyse data in places where it has not been possible in the past in order to obtain better data for planning transport and emptying. We believe that this is a step in the right direction to meet climate targets in terms of smarter management, increased productivity, less CO2 emissions and fewer garbage bags.
