Uppsala is the first fossil free Park?

Before the second season with BigBelly Solar system, has a fossil-free electric vehicles purchased for insamligen of waste and recyclable rubbish in public places. Vehicle choice is a direct consequence of a more efficient way of working based on the information on the filling ratio of the recycle bins and solar power compression of the material.
"A concrete example of working smarter for collection of garbage, is that through the right information, the vehicle fleet and its use miljöoptimeras, while we can reallocate staff to work with other environmental projects," says Per-Richard R Project leader at the municipality of Uppsala "
Uppsala has a far-reaching environmental strategy to find solutions that make it easier for everyone to live and work climate conscious. By Uppsala climate Protocol is applied for local solutions to a global problem. The Administration has as part of this work has chosen to invest in the system soon and 200 have BigBelly SOLAR devices in public spaces.
– Uppsala is well on the way to the fossil-free Park and one step closer to the main proceedings "a fossil-free fleet of 2030". The work of the Uppsala climate Protocol have contributed to Sweden's Uppsala municipality designated climate city 2013 (Earth Hour Capital 2013), of the World Wildlife Fund.
