Stockholm City implementedBigBelly In connection with the framework agreement that began with the EWF ECO Autumn 2016. The city of Stockholm has placed BigBelly in places where trash baskets are commonly emptied every day. Where the regular trash baskets have been replaced with BigBelly, the number of fluds has decreased from draining every day to emptying one to two times a week.
Stockholm City Council to other cities is daring to test the system. The city has experienced that the system streamlines the work of emptying the trash baskets, that transport has declined and that perceived purity has increased.
Working time which is saving has instead been used to collect rubbish in the streets. During the winter, Kolding Municipality tested dom smart recycle bins in the central parts and the result is positive. The test has reduced the number of flushes with 90 percent.
