EWF Ecoa leading player in Smart City, proudly announces its collaboration with Clear Channel to create a more pleasant and vibrant urban environment. Clear Channel's goal is for their presence in the city to contribute to more pleasant, dynamic and sustainable environments, and through the collaboration both parties will work together to realize this goal.
Reinvesting in urban solutions
Clear Channel reinvests a significant portion of its advertising revenue into city solutions that aim to improve the lives of everyone who lives in and visits the city. These advertising-funded city solutions have already been implemented in over half of the country's municipalities and include hospitable public toilets, weather protection in public transportation, sustainable solar solutions, electric car chargers and much more.
One of the innovative projects presented through the collaboration is the introduction of Bigbellys smart bins. Using photovoltaic technology, these bins can compress waste and hold up to seven times their own volume. By monitoring the fill level, the bins can effectively notify when they need to be emptied, making the waste management process easier for city staff. In addition, the Bigbellys bins are designed with access protection to prevent unauthorized use and discourage pests.
Improving conditions for a safer environment for all
It is well known that litter bins play an important role in creating a cleaner and more pleasant urban environment. By making litter bins available and placing them in places where people move around the most, we create better conditions for a safer environment for everyone. Through the collaboration with Bigbelly and Clear Channel, we can offer innovative advertising-funded litter bins that not only reduce littering and municipalities' waste management costs, but also contribute to a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions in the long term.
